Safe Housing is a foundational part of the ministry’s mission to provide stability, security, and hope for individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship. Founded in 2001, the ministry has remained committed to serving men who have no other housing options by providing a safe, structured, and supportive living environment where they can begin rebuilding their lives with dignity and purpose.
The ministry currently has the capacity to house up to 30 men and provide daily meals, essential support, and a stable atmosphere that promotes personal growth and accountability. Due to the ongoing need within the community, the program has consistently maintained a waiting list, reflecting the importance and impact of the services provided.
Each resident entering the program participates in a comprehensive intake process designed to assess individual needs, challenges, and goals. Personalized plans are then developed with measurable objectives set for 3-month, 6-month, and one-year milestones. These goals help guide residents toward progress in areas such as employment, life skills, financial responsibility, personal development, and long-term self-sufficiency.
The Safe Housing program is designed to last one year, allowing residents the time, structure, and support necessary to create meaningful and lasting change. Through compassionate care, accountability, and individualized support, the ministry strives to provide more than temporary shelter—it offers an opportunity for restoration, stability, and a pathway toward a healthier and more independent future.
